Our Craft & Materials

We take great pride in our work and want to share our love of wood craft with you.

All of our products are handmade with the highest quality natural materials. We use a variety of materials to create each one of a kind piece. We do not use any stain or coloration on the wood. What you see is naturally occurring pigmentation, enhanced only with wood oil and a protective clear poly finish.

Saddles: We collect vintage western saddles to create our saddle stools. No two saddles are alike. They have been used in the past and because of that have a tremendous amount of character. They are not perfect, and we like them that way. Each saddle has a story to tell.

Methods:

All of our pieces are stripped, shaped and sanded by hand. We lovingly look for the art already present in the wood and bring it to it's full glory.

Lichtenberg Process: We use the wood's natural conductivity, a medium and a current to create beautiful one of a kind wood burned pieces.
